This past Friday, the China Coast Guard (CCG) intercepted multiple batches of Philippine vessels near Xianbin Jiao in the South China Sea 🚢🌊. Despite repeated warnings, the vessels entered these waters under the pretense of fishing and carried out provocative acts.
According to CCG spokesperson Liu Dejun, the CCG took necessary control measures under the law, issued warnings and drove the vessels away ⚓. This operation demonstrates the authority's commitment to lawful maritime management.
Liu highlighted that the Chinese mainland has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Qundao, including Xianbin Jiao and its adjacent waters.
