More Swimming Records Fall at China’s 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities

Shenzhen's pool sizzled on day three of China's 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games. Athletes smashed national records and kept us diving into the action! 🏊💥

Women’s 400m freestyle S12: Shandong’s Wang Ziqing seared to gold in 5:06.74. Hebei’s Lu Jingxin and Jiangsu’s Feng Siyu took silver and bronze.

Men’s 400m freestyle S12: Shandong’s Xu Xingshang shattered the national record with a blazing 4:19.97, leaving Jiangsu’s Yu Tianyi and Zhejiang’s Zheng Yongqi in his wake.

Men’s 100m butterfly S13: Guangdong’s Huang Xueliang soared to victory in 1:01.63, another new national mark. Tianjin’s Liu Yutao and Hunan’s Liu Pengsi completed the podium.

Women’s 200m individual medley SM11: Liaoning’s Zhang Xiaotong clinched gold in a stellar performance.

Men’s 200m individual medley SM11: Zhejiang’s Li Zhixin touched the wall first in 2:29.13. Shandong’s Sun Chuanzhen and Tianjin’s Yang Bozun grabbed silver and bronze.
