🎾 Big day for the Chinese mainland in Melbourne! On Thursday, January 15, three stars—Wu Yibing, Yuan Yue and Bai Zhuoxuan—clinched their third qualifying wins to book spots in the 2026 Australian Open main draw.

🔥 In the men’s singles, world No. 168 Wu Yibing rallied past U.S. player Tristan Boyer, winning 6-3, 6-2. After bouncing back from an early break, Wu broke again in games 3 and 7 of the second set to seal the victory. He’ll take on Italy’s Luca Nardi in the first round.

👑 On the women’s side, No. 25 seed Yuan Yue extended her run with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Tamara Zidansek, earning her fourth straight entry into the Australian Open. Next up, she’ll face Iga Swiatek of Poland, the world No. 2, when the main draw begins.
