Three days after a New Year’s Day drone attack in the Kherson region of Ukraine, the death toll has climbed to 29, including two children. 💔
Russian investigators reported the strike hit a cafe and a hotel complex in the village of Khorly on January 1. At least 60 people were injured, with 15 still hospitalized—three in serious condition. 🚑
Svetlana Petrenko, spokesperson for Russia’s Investigative Committee, said forensic teams are conducting genetic tests to identify victims. So far, 12 of the deceased have been formally identified.
