💥 Yesterday (Dec 27), Kyiv endured a massive strike as Russia launched ballistic missiles and drones, killing two people and wounding 46. A nearly 10-hour air raid alert kept the city on edge.
🔫 According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the "massive strike" used long-range precision-guided weapons from land, air, and sea—including Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles—and targeted energy infrastructure facilities and military-industrial sites. Residential buildings were also hit, officials said.
⚡ The fallout has been severe: over 500,000 residents in Kyiv and the Kyiv region are without electricity, and more than 22,000 consumers in the Chernihiv region remain offline, Ukrainian Acting Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov reported via Telegram.
🕒 Looking ahead, today at 3 p.m., the leaders of Ukraine and the United States will meet in Florida for peace talks. All eyes are on whether dialogue can move toward ending the conflict. 🤝
