Gazas Uncertain Future After Deadliest Year

Just days ago on December 24, Ayoub Abdel Ayesh Nasr was killed by Israeli forces in Jabalia, northern Gaza 😔. Six others, including a child, were wounded in the same incident.

In the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, another child was shot and wounded, highlighting the fragile peace that came with the ceasefire this October.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, more than 400 people have been killed since the ceasefire began. The Gaza Government Media Office reports at least 875 violations by Israeli forces, underlining the challenges of enforcing peace.

Meanwhile, official data shows that 1.9 million people — 90 percent of Gaza Strip residents — have been displaced, facing uncertainty and hardship as the year closes.

With homes destroyed and communities uprooted, the future of Gaza remains unclear. As 2025 ends, many in the Strip are left wondering: what comes next? 🤔
