UK Train Stabbing in Cambridgeshire Sparks Major Emergency

UK's British Transport Police confirmed a stabbing on a train to Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday evening 😨🚨.

British Transport Police said "multiple people have been stabbed" and confirmed two arrests.

Cambridgeshire police added "a number of people" were taken to hospital.

Emergency services rushed to the scene around 7:40 p.m., stopping the train at Huntingdon station. Dozens of vehicles, including ambulances and air ambulances, were deployed, with passengers led away in space blankets.

A witness told The Times they saw blood everywhere as people hid in washrooms. Some were even stamped on while trying to flee, and others shouted messages of support like "we love you".

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the attack "appalling" and thanked the emergency services for their swift response. He urged anyone nearby to follow police advice.
