50 Dead in Gaza as Israel Steps Up Strikes on Gaza City

🚨 The recent Israeli military operations in Gaza took a deadly turn on Friday, with the territory’s civil defense agency reporting 50 people killed. Of these, 35 lives were lost in Gaza City alone, while 15 more tragically died across other parts of the region.

Israel has declared its intention to capture Gaza City, the territory’s largest urban center, which it sees as one of Hamas’s final strongholds. Over the past week, the IDF has targeted tall buildings it claims are used by the group.

These intensified strikes come as the UN and international community raise alarms about worsening conditions. The United Nations has even declared a famine in Gaza City, urging caution and highlighting dire humanitarian needs 😢🌍.

Britain, France and Germany joined forces in a joint statement, calling for an “immediate” halt to the offensive. They warned that ongoing attacks are causing civilian casualties and destroying vital infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military says it will “intensify the pace of targeted strikes” to disrupt Hamas and reduce risks to its troops as it prepares for the “next stages of the operation.”

On the diplomatic front, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to fly to Israel this weekend amid mounting tensions with other Middle East allies. Disputes center on Israel’s recent strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar and its plans to expand settlements in the occupied West Bank.

As the situation unfolds, the world watches closely, hoping for a path that protects civilians and paves the way for peace.
