China Dominates Asian Shooting Champs with Women’s Skeet & Mixed Air Pistol Golds

In a spectacular display of precision and nerves of steel, China's women's skeet trio – Jiang Yiting, Che Yufei, and Gao Jinmei – clinched the team title at the Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. The three athletes combined for an impressive 342 points, edging out host nation Kazakhstan's Adel Sadakbayeva, Anastassiya Molchanova, and Olga Khailova for silver. 🥇

The individual final delivered an epic showdown. Che Yufei led teammate Jiang Yiting by a single shot after the first 50 targets – but Jiang didn't flinch. She hit all 10 of her last targets, flipping the leaderboard and claiming gold. Che took silver, while Molchanova rounded out the podium with bronze. Talk about clutch! 🎯

And the action kept coming in the mixed 10-meter air pistol. China's Ma Qianke and Zhang Yifan stormed back from a 12-8 deficit against South Korea's Yoo Hyun-young and Lee Won-ho. A six-point streak later, they sealed a thrilling 16-12 victory and another gold for the team. 🔥

With these wins, China has shown it’s a force to be reckoned with on the shooting range. Stay tuned for more medal moments and stories from the heart of Asia’s top shooting event. 👀
