Bus Plunges into River in Benin, 1 Dead and 44 Missing

Early Sunday morning, a bus carrying 54 people plummeted into the Oueme River in central Benin, turning a routine journey into a race against time 🚨. The vehicle, en route from Lome in Togo to Niamey in Niger, veered off after hitting a bridge guardrail, said Alassane Seidou, Minister of the Interior and Public Security.
