Iran Reopens Airspace for Transit Flights

After a tense period following airstrikes and a 12-day aerial conflict, Iran has reopened its central and western airspace for international transit flights. The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development announced on Saturday that, after thorough security and safety assessments by the Civil Aviation Organization, passing international flights can now navigate these regions. ✈️

Earlier, the eastern airspace was opened for domestic, international, and transit flights. However, no flight will land or take off from Iran's airports in the northern, southern, and western regions until further notice. The Civil Aviation Organization stated that the airspace in these parts would remain closed until 14:00 local time (1030 GMT) on Sunday.

This development comes after Iran closed its airspace on June 13 following airstrikes targeting Tehran and other areas. With a ceasefire now in place after 12 intense days, there is a cautious optimism that smoother skies lie ahead. Stay tuned as new updates roll in!
