In a heartbreaking incident early Friday morning, a truck lost control and rammed into a minibus on the bustling Nakuru-Eldoret highway in western Kenya, claiming 14 lives. The victims, including nine men, four women, and one child, were caught in a devastating crash that unfolded at around 3 a.m. local time.
Police spokesperson Michael Muchiri confirmed that all 12 people on the minibus, including the driver, perished in the collision, along with two occupants from the truck. Preliminary findings suggest that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the tragic series of events as the truck dragged the bus along the highway.
