📢 Brazil’s former president Jair Bolsonaro is facing formal charges for attempting a coup after his election loss back in 2022. The country’s prosecutor-general announced an indictment against Bolsonaro and 33 other individuals on Tuesday, Feb. 18, that also outlined a host of other alleged crimes.
⚖️ Bolsonaro was previously convicted of abusing his power and casting doubt on the country’s election system, barring him from running for public office again until 2030.
