Dozens Killed in Gaza and Lebanon Amid Intensifying Israeli Airstrikes 💔

🚨 Tensions Rise in Gaza and Lebanon as Israeli Airstrikes Claim Dozens of Lives 💔

The skies over Gaza and Lebanon lit up with deadly explosions on Sunday, as Israeli airstrikes killed dozens, including innocent children, leaving communities devastated. Rescuers and authorities are grappling with the aftermath of the attacks that have shaken the region.

In the northern Gaza Strip, a tragic strike in Jabalia early Sunday morning destroyed a house, claiming at least 25 lives, among them 13 children, and injuring more than 30 others, according to Gaza's civil defense agency. The heartbreak doesn't stop there—another strike in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City resulted in the deaths of five more individuals.

The Israeli military stated that the target in Jabalia was a site where \"terrorists were operating,\" posing a threat to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops in the area. \"These terrorists posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the area. The details are under review,\" the military noted.

Amid the escalating violence, Israel's military and Shin Bet internal security agency announced they had killed Muhammad Abu Sakhil, the head of operations for the Islamic Jihad militant group, in an airstrike in Gaza. Describing Abu Sakhil as \"a significant figure,\" Israeli security forces accused him of orchestrating attacks against Israeli civilians and troops, including coordinating with Hamas.

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, commonly known as Islamic Jihad, is the second-largest armed group in Gaza after Hamas. Founded in 1981, it has been a key player in the region's longstanding conflicts.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas didn't hold back in his condemnation of Israel's actions. Speaking during a televised address commemorating the 20th anniversary of former leader Yasser Arafat's death, Abbas declared the military actions in Gaza as unparalleled in history, accusing Israel of making Gaza uninhabitable.

\"Our people cannot be erased,\" Abbas affirmed, emphasizing that Palestinians will not be forcibly displaced. He highlighted the critical juncture facing the Palestinian cause, with violence and displacement impacting both Gaza and the West Bank due to ongoing Israeli attacks. Abbas reiterated the Palestinian commitment to peace, calling for an end to the Israeli occupation and the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Adding to the tensions, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's construction of military corridors in Gaza, accusing it of dividing the territory and worsening the plight of its residents. Reports from Israeli media indicate that the Israeli army is reorganizing Gaza by creating three military corridors and setting up permanent installations.

The Netzarim Corridor, already established, splits Gaza into northern and southern zones. This 4-kilometer-wide stretch has been transformed into a substantial military base, complete with detention centers and command posts. According to Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, two more corridors are in the works, raising concerns about further fragmentation of the region.

As the situation unfolds, the people of Gaza and Lebanon are caught in the crossfire, yearning for peace and stability. 🌿🕊️
