China Strongly Opposes U.S. $1.988B Arms Sale to Taiwan Region 🚫💥

China has fired back at the U.S. over a hefty $1.988 billion arms sale to Taiwan region 💥😮

When asked about the U.S. State Department's approval of the arms deal—which includes the \"National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems\" and radar systems—China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson didn't hold back. They stated, \"The U.S. arms sales to China's Taiwan region seriously violate the one-China principle and the three China-U.S. joint communiqués, especially the August 17 Communiqué of 1982.\"

According to the spokesperson, the sale \"seriously undermines China’s sovereignty and security interests, harms China-U.S. relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait, and sends a gravely wrong message to 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces.\" 🚫✋

China strongly condemns and firmly opposes this move, having lodged serious protests with the U.S. The spokesperson added, \"The U.S. decision to use Taiwan to contain China and help advance 'Taiwan independence' agenda by arming Taiwan goes against the U.S. leaders' commitment of not supporting 'Taiwan independence' and the two sides' effort of stabilizing the China-U.S. relations.\" 🇨🇳🤝🇺🇸

Beijing is urging Washington to \"immediately stop arming Taiwan and stop the dangerous moves that undermine peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.\" The spokesperson warned that China will \"take resolute countermeasures and take all measures necessary to firmly defend national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.\" 💪🌏

Looks like tensions are heating up again across the Taiwan Strait! Stay tuned for more updates. 🔥📡
