Israeli Tanks Advance into Gaza City Amid Rising Tensions

🔥 Tensions are escalating in Gaza as Israeli forces push deeper into the northern regions, reaching the outskirts of Gaza City. Residents reported tanks pounding districts of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, forcing many families to flee their homes 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️.

In the early hours of Monday, an airstrike hit Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, where over a million displaced people were seeking shelter. The attack resulted in three deaths and 40 injuries, according to medical sources 😢.

The Israeli military claimed they targeted militants operating from a command center within the hospital compound. However, Hamas denies using civilian facilities for military purposes.

Civilians in Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Beit Lahiya found themselves isolated as Israeli forces blocked access between these towns and Gaza City, except for those willing to evacuate under Israeli orders.

The Hamas-run Gaza government media office stated that Israeli strikes have killed around 300 Palestinians in northern Gaza over the past nine days. They accused Israel of targeting civilian homes and shelters to force residents to leave Gaza permanently, an allegation Israel denies.

Later on Sunday, a tank shelling in Nuseirat camp tragically killed at least 22 Palestinians at a school sheltering displaced families, including 15 children and women. Additionally, 80 people were wounded in the attack.

Earlier, an airstrike in the Shati refugee camp claimed the lives of five children who were playing near a café. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on these incidents.

United Nations acting aid chief Joyce Msuya expressed deep concern, stating, \\"What's happening in northern Gaza is terrifying beyond words.\\" She urged for an end to the atrocities and emphasized that civilians are being cut off from essential aid 🚫🥖💧.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris echoed these sentiments, highlighting that \\"Israel must urgently do more to facilitate the flow of aid to those in need.\\" She stressed the importance of protecting civilians and respecting international humanitarian law.

Despite the intensified assault in the north, strikes are happening across the Gaza Strip. The health ministry reported at least 34 deaths on Sunday alone. Many residents are standing their ground, posting on social media, \\"We will not leave; we die, and we don't leave.\\"

The conflict has had a devastating impact on the region, with over 42,000 Palestinians killed in the past year. As Israeli forces continue their operations, fears of a humanitarian crisis grow, with shortages of food, fuel, and medical supplies.

Let's hope for a swift resolution and peace for all those affected ✌️.
