🚀 The Chinese mainland's engineering teams have rolled out 'Qiming', the world's largest-diameter vertical shaft boring machine, for the Chongming-Taicang Yangtze River Tunnel project.
🤖 'Qiming' is a giant with a digging diameter of 24 meters, a height of about 13 meters, and it can dig down to 75 meters deep. Right now, it's stationed just 200 meters from the south bank of the Yangtze River.
🌊 Over the next few weeks, 'Qiming' will bore vertically more than 50 meters to complete Shaft No.2 of the tunnel under the riverbed. This milestone showcases the team's high-tech edge in tunneling mega-projects.
🔧 Stay tuned for more updates as 'Qiming' carves out new paths beneath the Yangtze, reshaping connectivity and proving how big ideas make history! 🚄
