Mass Rally in Caracas Demands President Maduro’s Return

This past weekend (January 3-4, 2026), thousands of Venezuelans filled the streets of downtown Caracas to show support for President Nicolás Maduro and call for his immediate return.

Under a sea of red shirts and waving flags 🇻🇪, the crowd chanted slogans like "Maduro Regresa Ya!" and "Unidos con Maduro!" 🎉✊, highlighting their determination.

CGTN correspondent Gladys Quesada reported live from the heart of the capital, noting that the march remained peaceful as supporters made their way through historic avenues.

Participants used music and dance to keep the energy high, creating a festival-like atmosphere that drew in curious onlookers and families.

Despite economic hardships and political debates, many voices in the rally emphasized unity and national pride, hoping their call reaches both Maduro and the international community.

As President Maduro continues his diplomatic visits abroad, supporters say the movement sends a clear message: Venezuela wants its leader back home to guide the country through its challenges. 🌍
