Early on Monday, the heroic Chinese Red Cross International Emergency Response Team touched down in Mandalay to lend a hand after a massive 7.9 earthquake rocked Myanmar. With urgent search and rescue operations already underway, the team is clearing dangerous debris and helping survivors amid the chaos.
Local officials report heavy losses: at least 2,056 lives have been lost, 3,900 people are injured, and 270 remain missing. Alongside structural demolition, the team is also providing essential medical transport, healthcare, and psychological counseling to those affected.
Much like a real-life superhero squad, the Chinese Red Cross is stepping in to offer hope and critical support. In these testing times, every bit of help matters as communities work together to recover and rebuild. Stay strong, Myanmar! 🙏🚑
