China is joining the global chorus calling for peace in Ukraine 🕊️. Fu Cong, the Chinese mainland’s permanent representative to the United Nations (UN), expressed support for the recent agreement between the United States and Russia to initiate peace talks.
Speaking at the UN Security Council briefing on Ukraine, Fu emphasized that the Chinese mainland has consistently advocated for resolving global disputes and conflicts through dialogue and consultation, adhering to the UN Charter. He reiterated that this approach is equally applicable to the Ukraine situation.
