According to data from the Ministry of Transport, railway trips exceeded 20.09 million—a jump of 8.4% year on year. Water routes saw an impressive 24.4% increase with 880,000 trips, while air travel nearly hit 1.79 million trips, up 8.6%.

Road journeys dominated the scene with 264.72 million trips, including a staggering 228.23 million trips in private vehicles, growing by 11.1%. This surge underscores the eagerness of people to head out, reconnect with loved ones, and enjoy a well-deserved break.
