Guess who's celebrating her 7th birthday? 🎉 It's none other than Xiang Xiang, the beloved female giant panda who was born in Japan!
On Wednesday, crowds of excited visitors, including hundreds traveling all the way from Japan, gathered at the Ya'an base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan Province. They came to join in the festivities and wish Xiang Xiang a happy birthday! 🎈
Xiang Xiang was born on June 12, 2017, at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo to proud parents Shin Shin (mom) and Ri Ri (dad), two giant pandas who were on loan from China. She quickly became a superstar at the zoo, stealing hearts with her adorable antics. 🥰
As part of the loan agreement, Xiang Xiang returned to China in February 2023. While fans in Japan miss her dearly, her homecoming has been a wonderful opportunity for fans to visit her in China and celebrate this special occasion together. 🌏❤️
