Crew-10 Launch Ushers Return for Stranded Astronauts

NASA and SpaceX kicked off an exhilarating chapter on Friday with the Crew-10 mission, launching four fresh astronauts toward the International Space Station (ISS)! 🚀 Lifting off at 7:03 p.m. from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Falcon 9 rocket set the stage for the long-awaited return of astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been aboard the ISS for nine months.

This mission is extra special because Wilmore and Williams, both veteran NASA astronauts and retired U.S. Navy test pilots, made headlines as the first to fly Boeing's Starliner capsule to the ISS in June. However, technical challenges with Starliner’s propulsion system extended their mission, with the capsule ultimately returning to Earth empty in September.

Now, with the Crew-10 team arriving Saturday night, plans are in place for Wilmore and Williams to depart on March 19. It’s a smooth crew rotation that highlights teamwork and precise planning — a space saga that’s as thrilling as your favorite blockbuster! 🌌
