China's roads are buzzing with even more electric vibes! 🚗⚡ In the first half of 2024, a whopping 4.397 million new energy vehicles (NEVs) hit the streets, setting a new record!

That's a massive 39.41% jump from last year! To put things into perspective, in H1 2023, there were 3.128 million NEVs registered, which was already a 41.6% increase from 2022. Talk about acceleration! 🏎️💨

By the end of June 2024, China's total NEV count zoomed to 24.72 million. And guess what? All-electric cars are leading the pack with 18.13 million on the roads, making up a cool 73.36% of all NEVs. Electric dreams are becoming a reality! 🔌✨

It's not just just the cars; the number of drivers is skyrocketing too! 🚦 In H1 2024, 13.97 million new drivers got their licenses. Now, China boasts a staggering 532 million licensed drivers, with 496 million ready to hit the road in cars. Buckle up! 🛣️

City life is getting busier! 🏙️ Across China, 96 cities now have over 1 million cars each. That's eight more cities compared to last year. Among these, 43 cities have over 2 million cars, and 26 cities are driving with more than 3 million cars!

Shoutout to Chengdu, Beijing, and Chongqing, where car populations zoom past 6 million! 🚗🚗🚗 Meanwhile, Shanghai, Suzhou, and Zhengzhou each have over 5 million cars cruising their streets. Traffic jams might be the new normal! 🚦😅

China's love affair with NEVs is electrifying, and the numbers don't lie! As more drivers get behind the wheel of eco-friendly rides, the future looks bright and green. 🌱✨
