Fu Cong, the Chinese permanent representative to the United Nations, pointed out that many developing nations are missing out on the AI revolution due to the widening digital divide. 
\"The goal is to help all countries, especially developing ones, equally benefit from AI development, bridge the digital divide, improve global AI governance, and accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,\" said Fu.
Many developing countries are super excited about this resolution! 
They believe it's a milestone in bridging the global digital divide and sharing the AI advancements among all nations. 
Professor Zeng Yi, a member of the United Nations AI Advisory Body, mentioned that while global discussions often focus on AI safety and ethics, many low- and middle-income countries lack basic AI infrastructure. 
\"Capacity building is a crucial core element aimed at helping these countries bridge this digital divide and ensuring that the benefits of AI reach them,\" he said.

A survey by Deloitte found that generative AI is transforming how people work in the Asia-Pacific region. 
Young people are leading the charge, thanks to their digital fluency and love for tech. 
Developing economies like India and Southeast Asian countries are ahead in adopting AI, with daily usage much higher than in developed nations. 
Why? A larger proportion of \"digitally native\" individuals!
