Get ready, world! 🌍 The vibrant city of Chongqing is gearing up to host the 2nd Belt and Road International Skills Competition from June 24 to 26. With the exciting theme \"Skills Cooperation, Joint Development\", this event is attracting 590 skilled professionals from 61 countries and regions, including 190 top-notch contestants!

Wang Xiaojun, an official from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and a member of the organizing committee, shared that they've established 18 competition categories after considering the industrial development needs of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries, participants' interests, and Chongqing's hosting capabilities.
Among these categories, 11 are from the World Skills Competition, including:
- Digital Construction 🏗️
- Freight Forwarding 🚚
- Electronics 💡
- Optoelectronic Technology 📡
- Information Network Cabling 🌐

Wang highlighted that over the years, there's been active fostering of skills exchange and collaboration with BRI countries, international organizations, and companies. These efforts have yielded significant results, especially in cultivating skilled talent for overseas branches of Chinese companies and partner countries involved in the BRI.
This awesome three-day event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Development and Reform Commission, China International Development Cooperation Agency, and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.
So, mark your calendars and stay tuned for an event that's not just about competition, but also about unity, development, and the future of global skills! 🎉🌟
