China Eastern’s C919 Takes Off From Shanghai to Guangzhou, Boosting Domestic Aviation ✈️

🚀 Big news in the skies! China Eastern Airlines just launched its C919 flights connecting Shanghai and Guangzhou, marking its fourth commercial route for this domestically built jetliner.

Flight MU5309 took off with 162 excited passengers from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 9:37 a.m., landing smoothly at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport by 11:55 a.m. The return journey, Flight MU5316, was set to take off at 1:30 p.m., making its way back to Shanghai by 4:00 p.m.

Currently, China Eastern is the only airline rocking the C919, China's very own large passenger aircraft. With six of these jets now in their fleet, the airline is boosting its flight capacity on the Shanghai-Guangzhou route to a whopping 36 daily flights! That's some serious connectivity between these two bustling cities.

Last month, the sixth C919 joined the squad, speeding up the commercial rollout of China's homegrown jet. This comes just a year after the C919's inaugural commercial flight. With this self-developed aircraft, China is taking bold steps to shake up the global aviation scene, challenging giants like Boeing and Airbus. 🌏✈️

Over the past year, the C919 has been making waves on routes from Shanghai to Chengdu, Beijing Daxing, and Xi'an. And now, adding Guangzhou to the list, it's clear that China's aviation industry is soaring to new heights!
