China’s Rail-Sea Trade Boom: Over 300,000 Containers Handled in 2024

📦🚂 China's rail-sea intermodal train service is on a roll! In 2024, it has already handled over 300,000 standard containers of goods, according to China Railway Nanning Group Co., Ltd. This impressive feat is part of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, linking China with the world in exciting new ways.

From auto parts to motorcycles and power generators, China's exports are zooming across borders. And it's not just about what's going out—imports like Indonesian shortening and Vietnamese pulp are chugging in, enriching the variety of products available.

🏭 Huang Jiangnan, head of Qinzhou Port's east railway station, shared that these intermodal trains have transported a whopping 1,143 types of imports and exports! Talk about diversification! 🌐

Launched back in 2017, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is more than just a trade route—it's a bridge connecting provincial-level regions in western China with ASEAN members. It's like Asia's superhighway for goods! 🚢🌏

Now, this trade corridor has expanded its reach to 71 cities in 18 provincial-level regions in China and extends its network to 503 ports in 121 countries and regions. That's a lot of stamps on the passport! 🛳️📮

With such massive growth, China's rail-sea intermodal train service is setting new records and opening up opportunities for global trade. Who knows what's next on the horizon? 🌅
