Chinese mainland Breaks Ground on First Homegrown Submillimeter Wave Telescope
The Chinese mainland has begun building the Xueshanmuchang 15m SubMillimeter Telescope (XSMT), its first homegrown submillimeter observatory, set to join the Event Horizon Telescope network to image black holes.
