Sheng Lihao Tops 10m Air Rifle at 15th National Games

Guangzhou was buzzing as the 15th National Games on the Chinese mainland kicked off an epic men’s 10m air rifle final.

Sheng Lihao, at just 20 and already a two-time Olympic gold medalist, has been on fire all season. Known for snagging eight World Cup titles, he was determined to claim his first domestic crown.

With pinpoint precision, Sheng shot a stunning 254.6 to dominate the final from start to finish 🎯🏆. His calm under pressure gave him a two-point cushion heading into the last shots.

Competing against Olympic champs Liu Yukun (Shaanxi) and Zhang Changhong (Shandong), Sheng proved he’s the top dog in the men’s 10m air rifle event.

Jilin’s Wang Yutong dazzled too and took silver, while Shaanxi’s Liu Yukun grabbed bronze.

This victory is extra special for Sheng after debuting with bronze in the mixed team four years ago. Now, he’s finally got that National Games gold in the bag 🤩.
