Ready for a show in Malmo? 🌟 On the electrifying final day of the WTT Europe Smash in Malmo, Sun Yingsha outclassed her compatriot Wang Manyu in six gripping games to snag her fourth Grand Smash singles crown.

Game 1 was a thriller: Wang fended off a match point at 10-8, but Sun powered through with a fierce backhand winner to take it 11-8. The second game went down to the wire at 9-9, before Sun held her cool to seal an 11-9 win and a 2-0 lead.

Wang fought back in Game 3, mixing up serves to cruise to an 11-5 victory and trim the gap to 2-1. She kept the pressure in Game 4, coming from behind to prevail 12-10 and level the match.

But Game 5 saw Sun regain control with an 11-6 surge. In the final game, she raced to a 3-0 start, forcing Wang into a timeout, and then wrapped up the win 11-5. 🏆

Meanwhile, Moregard made history on the men’s side, etching his name into WTT lore with a milestone performance.
