Team China has unveiled its flag bearers for the 2025 International University Sports Federation (FISU) Summer World University Games in Germany, set to light up the stages in Rhine-Ruhr and Berlin.
Badminton star Cui Hechen and dynamic women's 3×3 basketball player Liu Bei will lead the delegation as they make their Universiade debuts. Cui, from Hunan Normal University, shared his excitement: "I'm really excited to be the flag bearer of the Chinese delegation because I know it might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm grateful to represent my country and connect with college students around the world."
Liu, representing Huazhong University of Science and Technology, added, "This is my first time competing at the World University Games, and I'm excited to be China's flag bearer. Besides representing myself, I will also represent my country and other college students, showcasing the good spirit of Chinese youth. My goal is winning the gold medal."
