In a heart-stopping showdown at the Chinese Super League, Shanghai Shenhua edged Zhejiang Pro 3-2 thanks to a sensational 98th-minute finish from Chen Jinyi. ⚽️

The match started off with excitement as Joao Teixeira put Shenhua ahead in the 21st minute with a powerful long-range shot. Zhejiang Pro responded in the 69th minute when Aaron Boupendza set up Wang Yudong to level the score at 1-1.

Tensions rose further when, just two minutes later, a cross from Tong Lei led to an unfortunate own goal by Shenhua's Bao Yaxiong, giving the visitors a brief lead. Not to be outdone, Shenhua bounced back in the 77th minute after Zhejiang's Huo Shenping misdirected the ball, allowing substitute Yu Hanchao to score with a clever lob.

In an electrifying climax, Chen Jinyi emerged as the hero in stoppage time, scoring from close range to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory. This win not only extended Shenhua's unbeaten run but also reinforced their strong hold at the top with 14 points.
