In an electrifying start to this year's Diving World Cup, China's Olympic champions Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan put on an unforgettable one-two finish in the women's 10-meter platform event. Quan lit up the qualifications by topping the leaderboard, setting the stage for an intense head-to-head showdown! 🏊‍♀️

As the final rounds unfolded, both athletes delivered high-stakes dives that kept fans on the edge of their seats. In round three, Chen impressed with a brilliant 626C dive that scored 89.10 points, allowing her to surge ahead, while Quan's 6243D dive encountered a few slips. With a solid performance in the fourth round, Chen continued to build her lead.

Chen sealed an incredible victory with a final dive tallying 76.80 points for a total of 419.35, marking her 15th World Cup title. Quan finished strong with an 88.00-point dive and a total score of 414.40, while Britain's Andrea Spendolini Sirieix claimed third with 337.70 points.

The excitement extended beyond the women's event. In the men's 10-meter synchronized final, China's Zhu Zifeng and Cheng Zilong fought hard against Mexico's duo. Despite a hiccup in the third round that briefly boosted the Mexican pair, Zhu and Cheng bounced back in the later rounds to secure gold with a total of 449.49 points, finishing 14.04 points ahead of their rivals, as Ruslan Ternovoi and Nikita Shleikher took third.
