Competing against 20 other skaters, the Chinese trio of An Xiangyi, Zhu Yi, and Chen Hongyi held their own, finishing between 12th and 16th place. Despite facing challenges, each skater showcased their skills with precision.
Zhu Yi, who previously achieved her best result at the Harbin Asian Winter Games, delivered a routine filled with multiple triple jumps, ultimately securing 15th place with a score of 48.38 points. Chen Hongyi battled an injury but still impressed with her spins and footwork, finishing 16th with 47.57 points. Meanwhile, An Xiangyi gave her all to close the day in 12th place, earning 57.63 points.
In the pairs event, Japan's Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara soared to gold with a total of 217.32 points, highlighted by an outstanding free skate score of 142.59 points. Canada's Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps made a strong comeback from a lackluster short program to claim silver, while their Canadian counterparts Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud secured bronze.
