In an epic showdown at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Under-23 (U23) Baseball World Cup in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang Province, China battled it out with Nicaragua for the bronze medal. Although they narrowly lost 3-1, this fourth-place finish marks China's best-ever performance at the tournament! 🏆

Nicaragua came out swinging, scoring two runs in the first inning and adding another in the third. But China wasn't backing down! 💪 Zhu Xudong dashed across home plate after a sharp hit to left field by Zhou Yi in the third inning, adding a run to China's score. 🏃‍♂️💨

Meanwhile, Japan clinched the championship title by defeating Puerto Rico 5-0, lifting the trophy for the second consecutive time. 🥇
