Chinese Mainland Olympians Spark Joy in Hong Kong with Fun Sports Activities

🌟 The excitement continues as Chinese mainland Olympians bring their athletic magic to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR)! On the second day of their visit, our gold medalists swapped the stadium for the community, connecting with locals and sharing tons of fun. 🏅❤️

2024 Paris Olympic swimming champions Qin Haiyang and Pan Zhanle made a splash visiting the disciplined services, showing off their best breaststroke and freestyle tips to enthusiastic Hong Kong teenagers. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Qin got creative and used Mahjong tiles—yes, the classic Chinese game! 🀄—to demonstrate the arm movements in breaststroke. Who knew swimming and Mahjong could mix? But his clever analogy made it super easy for the teens to grasp the technique. 🤯👌

Meanwhile, table tennis stars turned the Hong Kong Sports Institute into a playground of sports! 🏓 Wang Chuqin hopped onto an indoor rowing machine for a friendly race with students 🚣‍♂️, while Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu tried their hand at squash, showing that champions can shine in any sport! 🥇🎾

The fun didn't stop there! Hong Kong youths challenged world-class paddlers Fan Zhendong and Ma Long to a game of table tennis—with a twist. Instead of regular paddles, they used a cooking pot lid and a spatula! 🍳🥄 It took a bit to get the hang of it, but of course, the pros managed to ace it, much to everyone's delight. 😂👏

\"Hopefully you can feel our great respect and love for you,\" said Chris Tang Ping-keung, secretary for security of the HKSAR government, expressing the city's warm welcome to the athletes. 🤗💖
