The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has thrown some serious shade at the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) 😱. In a spicy revelation, WADA accused USADA of allowing at least three athletes with major anti-doping violations to keep competing for years. All this in exchange for information on other potential rule-breakers!
\\"It's ironic and hypocritical that USADA cries foul when it suspects other Anti-Doping Organizations aren't following the rules to the letter, while it didn't announce doping cases for years and let cheaters carry on competing, on the off chance they might help catch other possible violators,\\" WADA said in a release dated August 7.
USADA's own stats spill the tea 📊. Out of 966 sanctions, 35 cases were labeled as \\"no fault or negligence,\\" including a recent case involving American sprint sensation Erriyon Knighton 🏃♂️💨. Another 84 cases ended with just \\"public warnings.\\" Plus, names are removed from sanction lists 30 days after a \\"No Fault or Negligence\\" case is resolved. Suspicious much? 🤔
This drama is heating up the track and field world! 🔥 Who knows what twists are coming next? Stay tuned! 🎬
