Feng Shanshan Sees Bright Future 🌟 for China’s Young Golfers ⛳

Former world No.1 golfer Feng Shanshan is super excited about the next generation of Chinese golfers! 🏌️‍♀️ In a recent interview with Shen Xiang from CGTN Sports Scene, she shared her confidence in the rising stars of China's golf scene.

Yin Ruoning and Lin Xiyu are gearing up to represent China at the women's golf event in the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. 🇨🇳🏅 Feng couldn't hide her enthusiasm about their potential.

\"I would say that both of them are very competitive,\" Feng said. \"Right now, they are both highly-ranked in the world. So I would say that both of them have chances to stand on the podium if they bring out their 'A' games.\" 🎯

Golf in China has been on the rise, and Feng has witnessed the incredible growth firsthand.

\"It's totally different compared to when I just started playing the game,\" she reflected. \"If you go to any junior tournaments in China, oh my God, the kids have to compete just to get a spot! There are so many more of them starting to play golf and getting serious about it.\" 🤩

Feng believes this surge in interest will lead to more Chinese golfers making it big on the international stage.

\"So I'm very happy to see the changes,\" she added. \"I really think that Chinese are very good at golf. Because there are more people playing now, I'm pretty sure in the future there will be more Shan Shans, more Ruonings, more Chinese players getting on the LPGA and PGA Tours, maybe representing China and standing on the podium. I'm seeing that, and I'm very happy to see the changes.\" 🙌

With role models like Feng paving the way, the future of Chinese golf looks brighter than ever! 🌟
