Team China just brought the heat 🔥 with the unveiling of their new podium uniforms for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics!
On Tuesday in Beijing, Chinese sportswear brand Anta revealed the stunning uniforms that Team China's athletes will rock on the podium next summer.
The design keeps the iconic Chinese dragon elements 🐉, featuring the main colors of white and red—classic and fierce!
But wait, there's more! These outfits are not just about looking good; they're eco-friendly too 🌍. Made from recycled fibers and other sustainable materials like recycled nylon and polyester, they're helping to reduce carbon emissions. Fashion-forward and planet-friendly? Yes, please!
Since the 2012 London Olympics, Chinese athletes have been embracing the dragon-themed designs on the podium. And with 2024 being the Year of the Dragon, it's all coming full circle!
Several star athletes were at the unveiling ceremony, including two-time Olympic men's weightlifting gold medalist Shi Zhiyong.
\"It's going to be my third Olympics and I hope I can achieve an outstanding result,\" Shi said. \"By the way, we have a strong team nicknamed the 'King Squad,' so I hope everyone can pay more attention to the Paris Games and the Chinese weightlifting team. I believe that there will be multiple athletes wearing the dragon uniforms on the podium in Paris.\"
Chinese boxer Li Qian added, \"2024 happens to be the Year of the Dragon, so I think it's an auspicious sign. I hope I can wear this uniform on the top of the podium at the Paris Games.\"
With the combination of tradition, style, and sustainability, Team China's athletes are not just competing—they're making a statement! Can't wait to see these uniforms shine in Paris ✨.
