🏊♂️🚴♀️🏃♂️ The race to Paris 2024 is heating up! From May 11 to 12, athletes from around the globe gathered in Jiangyan, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, the Chinese mainland, to compete in the 2024 Asia Triathlon Cup and National Triathlon Champions Cup Series.
Hundreds of athletes from 12 countries and regions, including China, Australia, Kazakhstan, Ireland, and Iceland, battled it out for precious Olympic points. With qualification for the Paris Games on the line, the competition was fierce!
In the men's Asian Cup, an athlete from Ireland claimed the top spot 🥇, while China's Teng Yunfeng put up a strong performance, finishing sixth. On the women's side, Poland's Roksana Slupek snagged first place 🥇, with China's Wu Qing hot on her heels in second 🥈.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! On May 12, the triathlon series continues with competitions for the U19, U17, U15, U13, and other age groups, as well as thrilling mixed relay races. It's a full-on sports fest you won't want to miss! 🏅🚀
