IOC Unveils 36-Athlete Refugee Team for Paris 2024 Olympics 🎉

Get ready to cheer for a team that represents hope and resilience! 🙌 The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced on Thursday the 36-athlete Refugee Team for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games kicking off on July 26 in Paris, France. 🇫🇷

This marks the third appearance of the Refugee Team since their debut in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and later in Tokyo in 2021. From just 10 athletes in 2016 to 29 in 2021, the team has now grown to 36 athletes from 11 countries and regions, competing across 12 sports! 🏊‍♂️🏋️‍♀️🤸‍♂️
