Iran Files Lawsuits Against Alleged Unrest Orchestrators

🎬 Flashback: Protests erupted on December 28, 2025, and soon turned violent as demonstrators clashed with police and targeted government buildings.

This week, Iran's judiciary announced it has identified key orchestrators and is filing lawsuits ⚖️ against those it says turned disturbances into “terrorist acts.” Spokesperson Asghar Jahangir accused Western leaders of fueling the unrest and named foreign intelligence networks, including Mossad, as involved behind the scenes.

The judiciary, law enforcement and security agencies are sorting out misled individuals from organized operatives and true terrorist elements. Jahangir says legal cases are moving forward under Iranian law, targeting both domestic influencers and foreign links.

Iran is also gathering evidence of alleged U.S. and Israeli crimes during the June 2025 Iran-Israel conflict, planning to submit this material to international courts 🌐 in the coming months.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei weighed in on January 17, condemning the unrest as a U.S.-orchestrated plot and labeling former U.S. President Trump a “criminal.” A day earlier, President Masoud Pezeshkian told Russian President Vladimir Putin that the United States and Israel were “directly involved” in the protests — a plot he says has been foiled by national unity.

Despite repeated threats of military action by Trump — who said last Thursday he had no plans to attack — Iranian leaders warn any strike on Khamenei would be seen as a declaration of “all-out war.” Economic woes, they say, stem from what they call “inhumane sanctions” from Washington and its allies. 🌍

Relations between Tehran and Washington remain tense, with both sides exchanging harsh words since Trump’s return to the White House.
