Israeli Airstrikes Escalate Tensions in Western Iran

On Thursday, Israel’s military launched a series of high-impact, intelligence-driven air operations in western Iran. Around 20 fighter jets took off to target alleged surface-to-surface missile sites and transport trucks loaded with missiles — a bold move amid rising regional tensions.

This dramatic action came on the heels of a barrage of Iranian missile strikes on Israel earlier in the day, which the Israeli Health Ministry said left 271 people injured. Several projectiles impacted parts of the greater Tel Aviv area, and one missile even hit a building at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

After visiting the affected medical center, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned of further measures, stating, "No one is immune," and asserting that all options remain open, including potential strikes against key Iranian leadership. Since the launch of what Israel calls "Operation Rising Lion" on June 13, the conflict has reportedly claimed nearly 600 lives in Iran and 24 in Israel.

The unfolding cross-border exchange has caught the international community's attention as both sides brace for further actions. Amid the escalating situation, residents and onlookers are hoping for a de-escalation soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story! 🚀✌️
