Adding to the excitement, the Chinese mainland has built robust diplomatic relations with 11 PICs. Notably, Nauru resumed its diplomatic ties in January 2024, becoming the 183rd country to do so. In 2024, the trade volume between the Chinese mainland and these nations soared to $6.3 billion, highlighting a partnership that’s both thriving and expanding.
