Iran Denounces U.S. Sanctions Ahead of Crucial Nuclear Talks

In a bold social media post, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei fired back against new U.S. sanctions designed to restrict the nation's construction sector. The measures target key materials such as austenitic nickel-chromium alloy, magnesium ingots, sodium perchlorate, tungsten copper, and specific aluminum sheets and tubes.

Baghaei did not hold back, describing the move as "outrageous, unlawful and inhuman." He argued that these multi-layered sanctions are set to strip Iranian citizens of basic human rights, labeling them as crimes against humanity.

This heated critique comes just ahead of the fifth round of indirect nuclear talks in Rome. The Iranian negotiating team has already arrived, signaling determination to remain steadfast amid what they call absurd animosity.

The upcoming discussions are seen as a pivotal moment in a series of talks that began in April, raising questions about the U.S. commitment to pursuing diplomacy amid heightened tensions.
