In a vibrant cultural exchange event in Kuala Lumpur, China and Malaysia marked a new milestone in their longstanding friendship. As Chinese President Xi Jinping began his state visit, the occasion welcomed over 200 prominent figures from politics, business, culture, academia, and media.

Hosted by China Media Group (CMG), the event aimed to boost people-to-people connections and celebrate the rich cultural bond between the two nations. In his speech, Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and president of CMG, highlighted the decades-long partnership and praised joint projects like "Our Story" and "Global Watch," which illustrate the journey of mutual support and development.

Throughout the event, multiple agreements were signed with Malaysian partners in areas such as academic exchanges, media collaboration, personnel visits, and think tank research—all paving the way for even closer ties.
