Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet announced on Saturday that the kingdom will continuously deepen its ties with China for mutual benefits. At a ceremony in eastern Tbong Khmum province, he highlighted successful mega-projects like the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport as symbols of a strong, respectful partnership.
He noted that China, as Cambodia's top investor, has played a major role in elevating the nation’s socio-economic development and improving livelihoods. This robust relationship, which began on July 19, 1958 and was elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in December 2010, now continues to grow.
Looking forward, PM Hun Manet stressed that under frameworks such as the Belt and Road Initiative and "Diamond Hexagon" cooperation, both countries will work together closely to build a high-quality future with shared benefits. 🚀🤝
