Israel Claims Strikes on Hezbollah Leaders as Tensions Escalate 🌐

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday that Israeli airstrikes have targeted key figures within Hezbollah.

\"We've degraded Hezbollah's capabilities,\" Netanyahu stated in a video released by his office. \"We took out thousands of terrorists, including senior leaders.\" He did not provide specific names, and Hezbollah has yet to comment on these claims.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant mentioned that Hashem Safieddine, a prominent Hezbollah figure, was possibly targeted in recent operations. Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari added that the status of Safieddine is being checked after airstrikes on Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters last week.

Meanwhile, Israel has expanded its ground offensive with additional divisions deployed near the southern Lebanese border. The Israeli military reported heavy airstrikes against underground Hezbollah installations, claiming the elimination of several fighters and commanders.

UN Chief Raises Alarm 🚨

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned that Lebanon is \"on the verge of an all-out war.\" Speaking from the UN headquarters in New York, he emphasized that the Middle East is \"a powder keg with many parties holding the match.\" Guterres urged all sides to respect sovereignty and territorial integrity to prevent further escalation.

China Extends a Helping Hand 🇨🇳🤝🇱🇧

In response to the deteriorating situation, China announced it will provide emergency humanitarian medical supplies to Lebanon upon the government's request. The China International Development Cooperation Agency stated that ongoing conflicts have resulted in significant casualties, and China aims to support Lebanon during this critical time.

As the dynamics in the region continue to evolve, the international community watches closely, hoping for a de-escalation of tensions.
