In a recent meeting in New York City 🌆, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib to express strong support for Lebanon and condemn attacks on civilians.

Wang Yi, a prominent member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, reaffirmed China's commitment to Lebanon's sovereignty, security, and national dignity. \"No matter how the world changes, China will always stand for justice and support our friends,\" Wang Yi declared.

He voiced deep concern over recent escalations, condemning the large-scale airstrikes that have resulted in significant civilian casualties. \"Attacking innocent people violates the fundamental principles of international relations and deserves strong condemnation,\" Wang Yi emphasized.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Bou Habib expressed heartfelt gratitude for China's unwavering friendship 🤝. \"China has always stood by us, defending the rights of developing nations and advocating for justice on the global stage,\" he said.

Bou Habib highlighted the severe challenges Lebanon is currently facing, with over 300 fatalities reported due to recent airstrikes. \"For small nations like ours, maintaining sovereignty and independence is crucial, especially within the United Nations framework,\" he added.

Wang Yi stressed that violence only worsens humanitarian crises and called for the international community to take a clear stand. \"We need regional solidarity and a stronger voice for peace,\" he urged. Wang Yi outlined China's position, advocating for a \"permanent ceasefire and complete troop withdrawal,\" as well as the effective implementation of a \"two-state solution\" to resolve ongoing conflicts.

He expressed China's readiness to collaborate with Arab nations and the international community to promote stability and peace in the region. Wang Yi also requested that Lebanon take effective measures to protect Chinese citizens residing in the country.

Bou Habib assured that Lebanon will do everything possible to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals. \"We appreciate China's commitment to justice and their support in these challenging times,\" he affirmed.
